No matter the urban roads or expressways, more and more curved bridges were used because of its small site area, fluent alignment, graceful modeling and interworking. But, because of bending and torsion coupling, inner foece of curved bridge is more complex in comparison with straight bridge. With the bridge span increase, prestressed concrete has been more and more applied into curved girder bridge. Prestressed tendon has double directional curvature and interacts with curved girder bridge. So it comes into being a complex space mechanical system.At present, lack of overall understand about prestress, prestressed concrete curved girder bridge suffers many problems such as failure of the bearings, deflection of beam and side crack. This paper is based on the item of《Structure Analysis and Research about Tall Pier and Small Radius Curve Beam Bridge of the Wutong Mountain Over-crossing》of Shenzhen. Analyzing comprehensively and particularly the mechanical behaviour of curved bridge when it subjected to the prestress.Firstly, this paper deduce the torque calculation formula which is caused by prestress. Before deduction, this paper analyze the impact component of prestress upon curved girder bridge and determine an research approaches. This paper choose equivalent load to analyze prestress. We use equivalent load as external load and make use of theory of curved bridge solving. So deduce the torque calculation formula.Secondly, this paper analyze the mechanical impact prestress upon two structural forms of curved girder bridge by use of midas finite element analysis software. Pier height, curve radius, pivot pre-eccentricity and so on are taking into account for the impact prestress. We acquire the law about the impact of prestress with parameter varies. Research on the relationship between the best eccentricity and curve radius.At last, this paper analyze three methods which could improve the torque and establish corresponding model. Analyze the impact three methods upon the inner force of different structure style curved girder bridge in detail. These achievements could provide some references and bases for following torsion resistance design of curved girder bridge.
