With the technology of AC Variable-frequency is more and more developed and applied, power dynamometer through the implementation of the Variable-frequency is the most of advanced dynamometer system, using virtual instrument can fast and efficiently develop the modularized, intelligent, high-integration and simple motor test system to precisely and dynamically testing the motor.This paper researches the asynchronous power dynamometer system's basic principle, and analyzes the direct torque control of the basic structure, then through two different modes of DC bus contrast, the final selection of the DC bus balanced approach to achieve energy recycling.This paper set up asynchronous power dynamometer system simulation module in direct torque control mode, then the motor's drive state and generation state; without energy feedback state and energy feedback state are simulated in the MATLAB / Simulink.The control software is programmed by LabVIEW and can achieve a real-time control for power dynamometer system. Through the motor torque and speed control and the use of available test data, the motor torque, speed and load graphics can be plotted.In this paper, the use of frequency converter (ACS800-01) and squirrel-cage induction motors constitute a dynamometer power asynchronous systems, and then combined with the DC bus technology to realize energy feedback, combined with virtual instruments (LabVIEW) implementation measurement data acquisition, display, analysis, storage, etc., and thus it achieves a kind of AC variable frequency induction power dynamometer system based on the virtual instrument (Lab VIEW).Through the dynamometer system simulation analysis, results showed that the dynamometer system have good torque and speed characteristics, the use of DC bus technology can achieve Dynamometer System for the use of energy feedback. The LabVIEW software can be a good test of the dynamometer system for real-time control, and accurate observation of the various parameters of motor and the mapping of the corresponding graphic.
