Beam-column connection is the important component for the steeel structures. The connection is very important for whole structure. Bolted end-plate connection is one of the main connections for beam-column connection. There has been much research on extended end-plate connection. However, research about semirigid flush end-plate connection is very limited.In semirigid SRCW, there is a big axial tension in beam. The bending moment and axial tension are carried on the beam-column connection together. The axial tension in beam doesn't be taken into account in the available research achievements. This article study behavior of beam-column flush end-plate connection under moment and tension. The models of beam-column flush end-plate connection are established with the finite element software ANSYS. With variable tension for beam, the performance of connection is calculated when taking account of tension. Based on finite element analysis and available research achievements, the moment capacity, initial rotation stiffness and moment-rotation relationship of beam-column flush end plate connection are given under moment and axial tension.
