The specific property of cement treated sand-gravel base course in the longtime frozen earth district of altiplano is aimed at this paper. The content includes the mechanism and rule of formation of cement treated sand-gravel intensity and shrinkage properties in the special environment. Moreover, the targets that ensuring base course function ceasing not to be effective is presented. The methed of mix design on cement treated sand-gravel in frozen earth distract is recommended in this paper. Finally, the construction technical process and maintenance process on base course suiting the practical spot are presented that based on the evaluation of technology and economy.
