Qinhuangdao Harbor Area Crowded Intersection Traffic Conditions And Optimization Studies

Wth the development of economy, the traffic jam becomes more andmore serious in cities. The thesis makes a study on the collgested crossings'traffic situation in Haigang district of Qin Huangdao, Which is important forreality.Firstly, the important tfaffic parameters are survyed. Then the data ofsurvey are analyzed with the theory of traffic engineering. The thesis findsmain sections of highway and crossings that block the traffic fluency. Finally,some analysis and studies are made to the two congested crossings' trafficsituation. The ideal fluency of each highway are worded out by building themodel with multiobjective programming at the Hai Langhua crossing. Then,some importat conclusions and strategies are proposed. The two controllingschemes are put forward to the crossing of Wenhua Road and Jianshe Street.The better scheme Which benefits to decrease the crossing delay are selectedon the base of the computer simulation results.
