This paper introduces the theory and method of seismic design for bridges, the method of structural seismic test, the principle of the model material selected and the method of orthodoxy test design. In this paper, designs of the test model and load case for a simple beam with damp device are discussed in details. On the base of response of the model, author analyzes effects of three factors, including the height of piers, the stiffness of support and the additional damping, and comes to some meaningful conclusions.
