The use of rubble mound breakwater for slope revetments and breakwater, is adopted everywhere in the world . But most of research of rubble mound breakwater st~bility focus on under oblique -waves .The rubble mound breakwater stability should be investigated under multi-directional wave attack. A few tests of it have been found in the literatures. The main object of this thesis is to investigate the way to calculate the weight of rubble mound breakwater stability . An extensive model test program has been performed to study the effects of wave obliquity and multi- directionality on the rubble mound breakwater stability Three types of amour unit, Dolos., Accropode and Hollow Square were tested .The Hudson formula is still used to determine the armour stability. On the basis on the above ,we can annalyze the breakwater stability are effected by some factors as follow: (1 )Effect of wave pattern (2)Effect of wave angle (3)Effect of directional spreading Directional wave data have been used widely in many engineering. In this article, UVW gage is used to measure directional wave data through the numerical simulation. and experimental data, and a method is proposed to explicate the rule that applies the UVW gage.
