At present, the laminated rubber bearing, normally placed on a top of column in basement, forms a serial system with the column in base isolated buildings. However, the former stability of this system was based on studying component rubber bearing, which aimed at deducing related calculation formula. Using 2-DOF with elastic bearing, put forward by Koh and Kelly, movement equations are obtained after dynamic analysis of the serial system. Also, different cases of rubber bearing such as shear deformation, twist deformation and damping, are all discussed in this paper. Further analysis of the serial system under vertical earthquake forces, based on the former works, is also taken into account. The mechanic performance testing of laminated rubber bearing under lower temperature (-5 00C ) has no precedent example at home and abroad. On the grounds of former test, simultaneously, through contrasting the testing results with the relative others some datum and test regulation are derived.
