Firstly, the mechanism between frame and infilled brick is discussed. Methodsof analysing the mechanism are presented and the calculating formula of stiffnessis derived.Secondly, the mechanism of girder which support the wall panel is disoussed, andit is compared with the girder which support the brick wall. After that, the designsuggestion on the girder is presented.Based on analyses on dynamic character of structure of various stories andratio of height to width, the design suggestion on this kind of structure ispresented. Comparing asesmic performances of this kind of structure with that ofthe framed-suppoprted mansonry, the results reveals that the asesmic property of thestructure is much better than that of frame-supported mansonry structure.
