| A unixial compressive test on 12 reinforced concrete columns with either new type reinforcement or conventional reinforcement by changing various parameters. A series of curve of load-strain of constrained concrete columns are obtained . the factors effecting strength and ductility are analyzed. Finally a method on computing ultimate strength of the new type concrete columns and formulas with test parameters are proposed. The experiment results indicates that this kind of new type reinforced concrete columns are provided withhigher strength and capability to deform.In addition, the fracture mechanism of the new type reinforced concrete columns is discussed through adopting finite element method. |
