The reasonable stiffness of tall shear wall structure ispresented.Considering the main three factors,which influence the behavior on tallshear wall structures,using different analysis methods and softwares for structuralcalculation,the paper gain groups of internal force, displacement,earthquake forceand natural period of vibration.In addition,story factor was considered.Thepaper regresses the different results and gets the approximate formulus.Thus,the reasonable wall ratio is obtained for shear wall structure with period ofvibration.The conclusion can make reference to structural design.
