| Pile foundation is widely applied in many kinds of ground and under different type of loading. With the application of steel piles in engineering , people pay more and more attention to lateral resistance of pile. Because of the complicated interaction between piles and soil, research in laterally loaded pile group is scarce. It is urgent to research deeply, and analyze the mechanism of interactional relation between piles and soil reasonably.This issue bases on testing data of single pile and pile group, then discuss the infective factors of pile group under lateral loading,finally lodges a credible,convenient,applied expressions of pile group . Predictions of the pile-soil response using the proposed expressions were conducted and results indicated reasonable agreement between predicted and measured field behavior. |
