The paper introduced the main academic problems of harmonic in power net and some key techniques used in the development of system, combining with the project of Changsha Power Company-the development of an instrument for multi-channel harmonic detection and fault data recording.The paper was total divided into five chapters.The firth chapter was built on harmonic fundamental concepts, harmonic harm and influence, and then described the present condition and significance of harmonic study fault data recording.The second chapter introduced the fundamental theories of harmonic analysis and the main methods of harmonic detection, then made a brief direction of harmonic administration.The third chapter discussed the technology of multi-channel data gathering and the application of fault data recording.The forth chapter illustrated the key techniques used in the development of system and final results of the project, combining with the project-the development of an instrument for multi-channel harmonic detection and fault data recording.The fifth chapters recommended the follow-up work of harmonic project -the development of active power filter and the research of electric power management based on the techniques of network.
