While jointless bridges are popular in foreign countries,there are almost not research report or paper in our country.The interaction between pile and soil has been considered and a fintite element model for jointless bridges with integral abutments(i.e.integral abutment bridges) has been brought up on the basis of the discuss about laterally loaded pile in the paper.The author analysis the effect of the soil pressure behind abutment, temperature load,pile length and pile diameter on the loaded property of integral abutment bridges,and the thermal deformation of the girder under temperture load is also studied.Through analysis,some conclusion about the design of integral abutment bridges was made.At last,the formulas to confirm the relation between the soil resistance on pile and the displacement of pile were derived.
