With the rapid development of national economy in our country, traffic volume and cargo turnover of highway and urban road grow significantly, the dead weight of the vehicle and traffic density is growing quite quickly. In such a large tonnage and high flow rate of vehicle load, the phenomenon of traditional bridge damage is widespread, and telescopic device damage is the most serious, it poses a threat to vehicle driving safety. Integral abutment bridge cancels expansion joint, consolidates the upper structure and pier for whole, improves the ability of resistance to natural disasters, reduces the construction cost, speeds up the construction progress. Owning many advantages, integral abutment bridges have received the attention of scholars both at home and abroad, and studied by a large number of experiment research and practical application.However, the much complexity of integral abutment bridges structural behavior, makes the calculation method of integral abutment bridges is still not unified at home and abroad, and its domestic research literature are numbered, what is more, its study about the northern cold regions is none, so this article studying structural behavior of integral abutment bridges combining with the characteristics of the northern cold climate is very necessary, it can promote the deeper research of the bridge and a wider range of applications.Based on Fuyu industrial park of integral abutment bridge, this paper obtains soil’s physical and mechanical properties parameters by the test for soil behind the abutment and around the pile, uses TDV software to establish the finite element model, and tests its rationality; The monitoring test for a long time on the integral abutment bridge analyzes the relationship between temperature and the longitudinal displacement on the top of the pile and abutment, and respectively studies the internal force distribution and change rule of the upper structure and lower structure under the effect of temperature difference; Through the static load test, the paper analyzes the upper structure loading characteristics of the integral abutment bridge under vehicle load by contrasting the measured and theoretical calculation data of the girder transverse distribution coefficient, midspan deflection and stress, and studies the deformation and stiffness at consolidation in the upper structure and pier combining with angle measured and calculating data of the top of abutment and pier, stress data of substructure measured points, at last analyzes the internal force distribution rule of substructure.
