This paper studies the process of alloy steel creeping in high temperature and high-pressure conditions. The creep theories in different periods have been criticized. Based on the creep theories, the useful method C-projection concept has been chosen to predict the life time of the steam piping. We chose the whole steam piping as the research objection. All the original data is calculated, analysis and evaluated. The method we proposed is more simple,accurate and practical than others.Luoyang Thermal Power Plant was founded in 1957, a high temperature and high-pressure power station. There are many power stations like Luoyang in china. With the development of technology, it is important to use the new method like prediction to dispel the accident so we can ensure the security of people and appliance, enhance the economic benefit. Therefore, C-projection concept has been chosen to evaluate the life of the steam piping of boilers №:l and №:6 in Luoyang Thermal Power Plant. The predicted residual life corresponding to the creep strain limit of 0.55% are 70000 and 40000 hours rspetively. According to the result, we can arrange the time and costs of the technical transformation scientifically, utilize the appliance furthest, extend its life, and gain the remarkable economic benefit.
