Underground Hydropower Plant Layout And Structural Design Analysis

The Jiangkou Hydropower Station that is now under construction is the largest hydropower project on the main stream of the Furong River. It's the most important electricity energe source of CHONGQING in the 21 century and it also be the main project of the Big Develop Of Western.The Jiangkou Hydropower Station adopt double curve dam and underground powerhouse. Major structures for the underground powerhouse were built under the ground,The whole cavern mass are quite complicate.This thesis discussed the design principia and desige method from the engineering point of view.,and give out its own view about the selection of development of the hydropower station, layout of the underground cavern mass, selection of method for stability analysis on the surrounding rocks and support, and design of the rock anchorage crane beam.Some conclusions assumed from the research and design of Jiangkou power house is quite useful for all the underground Hydropower Station.
