Synthetic Insulators Aging Test Intelligent Measurement System

The intellectualized measuring system for the composite insulators aging test is a high sample rate and self-service system that aims at the 5000 hours accelerated aging test of the composite insulators. It provides a new tool for the research of the composite insulators capability.Some advanced devices made abroad are used for the intellectualized system. Based on the high-level DAQ card and the stable, anti-jamming server and with the supplement of the sensor and the protective system, the paper fulfilled the hardware system, and then the software system developed based on it. The software system accomplished the separation of leakage current and pulse current; many ordinary functions including real-time inspecting, timing storage, auto storage and so on have been fulfilled; real-time inspecting of aging chamber have been fulfilled; many features which can characterizing the aging test have been defined and recorded; some special functions such as fault alarming and system auto reset have been fulfilled.The paper also has some experiments on the intellectualized system's accuracy, sensibility and anti-jamming capability. Tests in verifying the functions of the system are also implemented. The system preferable stability and reliability have been verified, and it can satisfy all the performance demands of the 5000 hours accelerated aging test.
