| In the process of the enterprise information constructing,EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) is a crucial issue has to be confronted to realize the information sharing and communicating among much diverse application systems. The technology of integration platform is an advanced EAI supporting tool. As an integration platform,PDM (Product Data Management) goes through three stages:the earlier simple PDM systems cooperating the using of CAD tools,the professional PDM products and the new generation PDM products-Collaborative Product Commerce (CPC). CPC evolves from PDM. CPC emphasizes collaboration while PDM stresses management. One of the current influential CPC solutions is Windchill-the solution of PTC Corporation. Windchill uses an open,federation architecture based on Web. It adopts the three-tier architecture based on Browser/Server. It utilizes a great deal of technology based on Web and Java. The focus of Windchill information integration framework is InfoEngine. All of the data and process in the diverse information systems are connected via Windchill InfoEngine. With the JDBC Adapter provided by Windchill InfoEngine,the legacy systems of enterprise can be integrated into Windchill platform incompactly.In this paper,the background and objective of the information integration based on Windchill platform are introduced. The properties of several typical EAI model are given. The development,basic properties and functions of integration platform are presented. Among the technology of integration platform,the basic functions and system architectures of PDM and CPC platform are described,their technical aspects are discussed. By taking into consideration of the requirements for integration between Windchill platform and the self-determination copyright software-AMCM software system (Aircraft Manufacturing Configuration Management system),the technical analysis for Windchill platform and the implementation of the AMCM integration based on Windchill are stressed in particular. |
