| Expansion joint was one of the most important parts of pipe system. It can close the vibration off in pipe system and absorb the displacement caused by stress,axial force,transverse force and temperature grads. Based on FEA parametric analysis,ANSYS was used to study the mode and harmonic response of expansion joint in this article. Then experiment was processed to testify the calculated results.Based on the theory of vibration mode,harmonic response and experiment,FEA meshing,FEA element and bound condition of expansion joint were analyzed. Then a parametric FEA modeling & post process software was developed by APDL and Visual Basic langrage. Research methods of expansion joint's mode and harmonic response were systemically studied and a FEA modeling & post process software for project designer was built in this article. And it may contribute much to theory and project practice for expansion joint. |
