As the ground of the blade body in NC machining system, the CAD model of the blade body surface influences the machining quality of the blade body directly. In this thesis, a solution is provided to rectify the distortion of the parametric grid, which is created as well when the CAD model of the blade body surface is created by traditional way and seriously damages the quality and efficiency of the blade body. By this solution, a balde body model can be created by the optimization of the parametric grid of the blade body surface. Some key techniques used in the solution, such as the computation of the data points on the meanline, the technology of cotinuty between the leading line and the outline of the blade body and the technology of the cross-section curve discretization, are disserated, and corresponding algorithm are presented in this paper.The resolution to rectify the distortion of the parametric grid has been proved feasible and effective by practice.
