Electricity Tester

The inspection of the charging line voltage, current, frequency, power factor, active power, and reactive power is the basis for an enterprise to monitor the operation status of the charging line and its electrical equipment, some of those parameters are important for the enterprise to guarantee the effectiveness and reasonableness of the reactive power compensation and to make decisions. The coulometer is a multi-functional synthetic reference instrument used in electrical measurement laboratories, electric energy meter calibration equipment, and the precise metrology to measure the parameters above.Based on the previous work of others, in terms of ADC (analog-to-digital conversion), DSP (digital signal procession), as well as FPGA (field programmable gate array), the operation principle, and the measurement method are studied along with the approaches to improve the measurement accuracy, and the signal system is analyzed theoretically, both in time domain and frequency domain. Finally, the hardware implementation of the coulometer is discussed.
