Base on the suction performance theory of centrifugal pump and the design theory of jetting pump, the design of jetting device is given. Through the academic analysis, computational fluid dynamics analysis and testing some important conclusions are given:1. In order to make test reach on the jetting device, we build a test-bed of fluid transmission. This paper gives the design of testing device and testing loop. The choose and installing of the sensors that are used in the testing-bed are also given.2. On the investigation of the data acquisition system that is popular adapted in the fluidtransmission testing-bed, the data acquisition system scheme of our testing-bed is given. Wei adapted the data acquisition card of National Instruments and build a visual instrumenttesting-bed in the Lab VIEW environment.3. When the work of building testing-bed is finished, the performance testing and suction performance testing of test-pump are carried out. The results show that the testing-bed is accurate enough to do testing.4. Base on the theory of suction performance of centrifugal pump and design of jetting pump, the design of jetting loop and jetting device are given. The influence on the jetting effect of jetting angle, mixing length and the number of jetting muzzles are given through the simulation. On the analysis of simulation results and the design experience of jetting pump that are given in the jetting pump field the design of jetting device are finally established.5. The jetting device is to make part of the fluid from the outlet of the pump back to the inlet of the pump. Through the suction performance testing of several flow points after adding the jetting we found that the jetting device can improve the suction performance of centrifugal pump but the efficiency drops simultaneously. So the percentage of flow should be limited inConclusion and prospect of the whole project and this paper is pointed out. Due to the jetting device is easy to install and remove the jetting device can be developed with the centrifugal pump together and will have a prospective future.
