With the development of modern technology, space militarization and spatial defense-attack will be inescapable in the future war. Also the Warfare will be extended to the space. Spacecrafts are the important object to be studied in spatial defense & attack and in the usage of space environment. To design and to develop a spacecraft, Orbit design is key work. So combine the item of "Space environment primary numerical simulation platform", this thesis is focus on the research of orbit design and analysis. The main achievements in this thesis can be summarized as follows:1. Introduce the reference frame and time system used in orbit design particularly. Analyzed the orbit characteristic of two-body problem and launch window.2. Systems analyzed on the design principle of near-earth orbit, regression orbit, stationary orbit, critical orbit and construction orbit. Base on this, a orbit design model is given.3. Expatiated on the application theory of basic orbit, including subastral point calculation, visibility analysis, coverage evaluating and spacecraft life-span estimate.4. Based on the orbit design theory and developed computer software technology, a system is designed using international unionized modeling language (UML). A method to build a flexible and convenient system with COM component is given in the thesis.5. Finally, a orbit design and analysis prototype system is represented . Much more experience on the development of "Space environment primary numerical simulation platform" is sum up in the thesis.
