So, the initial design of the spacecraft should undergo a variety of tests, however, the traditional physical testing time-consuming and costly, for the complex space environment but can not fully meet the test criteria. Another, the spacecraft will also be a variety of problems during operation, but because of the special nature of its operating environment, before its repair have to undergo a series of tests. Therefore, spacecraft in orbit testing and maintenance of profound significance and significant economic benefits. Virtual reality technology to virtual simulation of spacecraft, spacecraft in orbit environment and spacecraft in orbit repair process. In this paper, against a spacecraft in orbit and repair simulation presents two simulation methods.This paper proposed ray tracing based field of view simulation of star sensor. The method first use of three-dimensional modeling techniques for spacecraft and space environment simulation model, build a virtual reality simulation environment, and to achieve the kinematics and dynamics simulation of spacecraft attitude and trajectory, as well kinematics simulation spacecraft components (windsurfing). Finally, using ray tracing and collision detection technology, achieve the visual effectiveness of the star sensor detection purposes. Experimental data shows, that this method can achieve a good calculate and analyze the situation occlusion of the sensor’s field of view between the spacecraft components, as well reflection of the sun’s rays after the first impact sensor.
