This dissertation is mainly discussed in the following perspectives: coach aerodynamics shaping orderliness, coach shaping design method, using CATIA to form the numerical modeling of coach body surface according to measured points data and wind tunnel test for coach model in aviation wind tunnel.By studying the coach shaping orderliness, now coach aerodynamics shaping makes coach streamline by using small corner. In shape design, by streamlining the key part of coach can make aerodynamics shaping and make manufacture simple and make full use of the space.In the research, applying reverse engineering combined with CAS and using the "Method of Grids Identified In Advance" and the "Method of Probe Touching Point Coordinate Adjustment" measure scale 1:5 coach model and obtain points coordinate of model surface on CMM. By the powerful functions of free surface feature of CATIA software, measured data on CMM are read into CATIA digital curve editor to forming the numerical modeling of coach body surface and accumulating datum for CFD.In wind tunnel test for coach model influence factor has been studied adopting floor with sew and inner-set scale, the aerodynamic force and surface pressure are measured completely, and flow visualization is also conducted in this wind tunnel test. The analysis of aerodynamic force data shows that differ front shape is very important to aerodynamic force. For example, coach model air drag coefficient can be lowed to 0.5759 from 0.7509. By analyzing datum, it can be seen that the aerodynamic shape of coach is very good and the position of ventilation is reasonable.
