The Car With Power Split Cvt System Design And Modeling

In view of minicar and economical car, a new type of Power Split Continuously Variable Transmission System (abbreviation as PSCVT) for vehicles is proposed. That system synthesizes the continuously variable transmission unit with the planetary gear set with two freedoms of motion to realize the power split and continuously variable transmission, which can lower the cost and improve the efficiency.Practical scheme realization of the system is studied in depth. Collectivity design and parts design has been finished primarily. To make certain the connection of the important design parameters and the performance of the system, mathematics model was established and simulation was made, variety rule of the system caused by the important design parameters was explored at the same time. 3D geometric model had been upbuilt by applying computer aided design technique, which laid the good foundations for following prototype development.The research indicated that PSCVT for vehicles, which has high performance-cost-ratio, has strong competition advantage relative to conventional mechanical multi-gear transmission. As a new product, it has good application prospects.
