Modeling and transient analysis of the process of Compound Extended-Range Projectile pulling in bore are mainly studied in this thesis.First, a simple model that a cyclinder with convex ring pulling in a tube is constructed using the ANSYS software, by computing and analysis of three different models, a general method can be get to resolve this sort of problems. Then a complete projectile 2D model is established using AutoCAD and converted to ANSYS through .SAT data format, then a 3D solid model and finite element model is set up, and the properties are also defined in ANSYS. The next step is the dynamics analysis of the driver and body in the process. In the end, some methods about the deformation and intensity of projectile pulling in can be concluded and will be beneficial to the design in future.
