With the continuous development of power communication networks, the traditional terrestrial communication networks cannot meet the requirement of full coverage in smart grids. Moreover, the traditional grid structure has become unable to meet the needs of smart grids in flexibility and security.Satellite communications can solve the full-coverage problem in the power communication networks because of its wide coverage area, stable communication lines and flexible maneuverability. This paper proposes an adaptive hybrid error correction coding for the resource limitations about Beidou short message,i.e.limited capacity, limited frequency and unreliable transfer.Since the degree of redundancy injected into the coding is adjusted with the feedback information, namely, decreasing when the network is well-behaved and increasing when it is not, transmission performance using AHEC protocol can be obviously improved.Software-defined network(SDN)technology can achieve the centralized control of the smart grid and the simplification of network architecture due to its unique advantages such as separating forwarding and control, centralized control, optimization of global efficiency, open interfaces, network abstraction and shielding of bottom layer differences. This paper proposes an SDN based power communication network architecture. The architecture includes some security strategies and improves the performance and security of the smart grid. What's more, this paper conducts some simulations on the performance of this architecture compared with the traditional ones. The experimental results show that virtual network partitioning, dynamic network configuration and automatic redistribution of routes can be effectively achieved with the use of SDN. |
