The water wall tubes were leaked by the high temperature corrosions, which put the boiler units shut down and made the safety and economy operation of the power plants effected severely, which also made the safety generation and dispatch of the all power network effected severely. Thereby, more and more attentions and researching were given on the problem of the high temperature corrosion of the water wall tubes of the boiler recently.However, researching of the high temperature corrosion is limited in engineering now, only judged by the corrosion products of the water wall tubes, more in-depth researching is lack about the corrosion mechanism and the course of reaction. But the paper set out form the Lab, the conditions of the temperature of the water wall tubes and the ambience of the furnace is imitated in Lab, the material of sample is adopted by the steel of the water wall tubes of the boiler, which made the test conditions approach to the fact work conditions of the water wall tubes of the boiler and made the imitation accurate. The analysis of X-RD of the corrosion products is adopted; the curves of add weightiness of corrosion is translated into the thermal dynamic curves, so we can judge the corrosion mechanism by the thermal analysis. The method is fresh and innovation, which made the means of researching and the content enriched.The corrosion mechanism, the affect factors and the preventing measures of the high temperature corrosion of the water wall tubes of boiler were discussed elaborately in this paper. Based on practical engineering, the multi-tangential firing technology and the variance perimeter wind technology were introduced in this paper too. From the practical point of view, in this paper, we state the application of multi-tangential firing technology to setting the high temperature corrosion of the water wall tubes of boiler. Passing the cold air-dynamic test, thermal efficiency test and practical running, we can conclude the technology is viable in setting the high temperature corrosion of the water wall tubes of boiler and increase thermal efficiency ect.
