"highway Route - Car Run Response Model" Study

In this paper, the relation among highway alignment, vehicle operating velocity, vehicle fuel consumption and vehicle dynamics is discussed synthetically.To evaluate and optimize the design of highway alignment, a" High Alignment-Vehicle Move and System Dynamic Response" model has been established. By using the computer program of the system, which is written with Visual C++6.0, one could easily draw out the variation curves of vehicle operating velocity , vehicle fuel consumption and some certain vehicle dynamics index.The result of this research is of great practical use in Highway Alignment Evaluation and Optimization.
