Asphalt pavement on semi-rigid road base has become the main form of pavement structure for highways, while the low temperature cracking has been the important problem influencing the pavement quality. To the chill climate character on NeiMeng region, this paper selects the suitable cement content for decreasing temperature contraction cracking on road base through the test of cement stabilized sand-gravel material. By means of various low temperature test methods, the influence degree on the low temperature performance of GoodRoad Ⅱ fiber enhanced asphalt mixture and SBS modified asphalt mixture are tested, and the strengthening mechanism is analyzed. The effects of GoodRoad Ⅱ enhanced asphalt mixture and glass fiber grid for resisting reflection cracking are proved by full-scale test, the resisting mechanism is analyzed ,too. It proves that adding up fiber and modified asphalt in the common asphalt mixture can decrease the brittle point temperature and strength the ability of resisting cracking. Fiber-reinforced asphalt concrete and glass fiber grid which has been set between the road base and overlay can delaying reflection cracking effectively.
