Based on engineering economy theory and comprehensive employ of engineering technology, computer science and quantitative technique, the technique and economy analysis model for in-service bridge rehabilitation is built in this paper and hence the optimal rehabilitation design of in-service bridge is accomplished. Besides, prediction method of economical service life of bridge is put forward based on optimization analysis. The equivalent uniform annual cost is an important index in economy analysis model, which employs dynamic analysis method for cost year and takes the relative cost of bridges in service life into account, and the quantitative analysis model of equivalent uniform annual cost is built. In the paper, equivalent uniform annual cost of every project is compared and analyzed and the project of least equivalent uniform annual cost is chosen as decision. What's more, with the consideration of some uncertainty in each parameter used in economy model, the sensitivity analysis method is also put forward in the paper. Finally, the continuation time of bridge life when equivalent uniform annual cost approaching the minimum is calculated, which is just the economical service life of bridge.In the paper, intensive economy studies of in-service bridges are carried out, which provide analysis tool in selecting economical and efficient rehabilitation project for in-service bridges and offer theoretic basis in evaluating service life of in-service bridge.
