Two Rod Linkage Computer Micro-reactors Closed-loop Control System Development And Research

Miniature Neutron Source Reactors (MUSRS) were developed for the purposes of research training, teaching and isotope preparation with short and medium half-lives. And good results have been achieved so far. However, with the development of the nuclear techniques and the increase needs of the markets both at home and abroad , the improvements and updating of the MNSRS are urgently required. One of the improvements is to enlarge daily operating of the reactor. In order to achieve this, one of the effective measures is to relatively increase the excess reactivity of the reactor.For the safe operation of the reactor, one more control rod is added besides the original central control rod. The thesis deals with the microcomputer closed control system with the two linked control rods. The results of the thesis have been applied to ShenZhen University MNSR.
