With the society development and substantial improvement in material civilizations, social communication between people is getting more and more frequent. Vehicle serves us not only as a transportation approach in working, studying and living activities, but also as a status what people work, study and live, moreover, a representative of people's social identity. Therefore, the aspects of comfortability and safety of vehicles are being more stressed by vehicle manufacturers and users. Since vehicles are being used more often, the frequency of lifting glass up and down is getting higher. And lifter glass is used to lift the glass up and down, therefore it becomes more crucial whether window regulator functions well or not.Glass lifter functions mainly as to ensure window glass in rising and descending smoothly, which helps people with their normal activities in the vehicle. There are a variety of causes that may bring up uncomfortable usage, traffic jam, even malfunction of glass lifer, such as bad stamping part of doors, bad tolerance with inner/outer watertight seal and dimension and material of window guide-slot, problems with regulator itself, as well as unconformity of window glass application and its design specification. On a basis of collection and analysis about domestic and foreign vehicles' window glasses in structure and technical parameter, bymeans of overall inductive analysis and comparison, BJ1027 FOTON Pickup and BJ6486 FOTON Car have been systematically analyzed and studied in particular their inner structure, operating principles and invalidation mode. In such a way can quality issues with glass lifter system of our vehicles be solved, also much experience will be accumulated as to improve lifter's design in the future as well.
