| Modal analysis is a modem technique and method which is used to analyze the dynamical characteristic of mechanical and architectural structure.This paper discuss usual methods and processes of modeling of finite element ,modal test and correlative analysis for real structure. A shell structure and a composite material box structure have been analyzed integrally as engineering instances, and the results is satisfying.According to the symmetrical specialty of the tow structures, the integrated dynamic information of structure can be mapped from one symmetrical face of the structure, and the mode shape is mainly datum to be mapped. After the finite element model was condensed by modal reduction, the correlation was analyzed between academic result and test result.In general, the method of mode shape mapping has been studied in this paper is a accurate way to middle and small structure. But it should be studied and updated to adapt to bigger and more complicated structures. |
