This paper focuses on voltage regulation strategies of 400Hz CVCF(Constant Voltage Constant Frequency) inverter. The purpose of voltage regulation strategies is to obtain low THD, small steady-state error and good dynamic response in face of various loads. To achieve the goal, several high performance controller are designed based on the research of repetitive controller, deadbeat controller, multi feedback loop controller.Repetitive controller is drawing more and more attention as it can obtain low steady-state error. Moreover there is only one variable of the system needed to measure. But to design a repetitive controller is never a easy job. There is not a common method to design a high performance repetitive controller. In this paper, a research is carried out on the basic theory of repetitive theory and the design method of the compensator based on the perfect cancel theory.Deadbeat control is such a method that its advantage and disadvantage are both outstanding. The main disadvantage is that performance of deadbeat controller is dependent on the parameters of the invert. If the system parameters are not accurate, the performance of the controller will decrease. In this paper, a repetitive disturbance observer is introduced to substitute traditional disturbance observer used in deadbeat controller. Simulation results have proved that the high performance of the repetitive disturbance observer. At the last of this part, the use of parameter estimation in deadbeat control is also discussed.Multi feedback loop control has been drawing a lot of attention from researchers due to its ease of designation and implementation. Unfortunately it can not completely eliminate the steady-error of system. In this paper, disturbance decoupling andresonant controller are employed in multi feedback loop to eliminate stead-state error of system.Finally, the choice of control method under different load condition is discussed.
