Feng Shui And Environmental Relations

This paper first points out the importance of environment design in this stage. Then it mentions the new challenge to the environment design at this period."Fengshui" is an important concept of Chinese traditional culture. The key point of this thought to urban development is that human living space should be combined with its surroundings and environment as a whole body, the thought is as same as the concept of sustainability .Then, the second charpter analyses and reviews the developing state of "Fengshui", and analyses the characteristic of the "Fengshui". Then, This paper point out the justified part of "Fengshui" and analysis the apply to the designning of residential zone at this period. In this content, the paper mentions four parts,the four parts are city and village, "Changfengdeshui" ,grove, architecture.At the layer of city and village, the paper mainly discuss the base election and planning for city and village, "Deshui" and "Cangfeng". Subsequently, the paper analysis the relation of "Fengshui" and grove, then takes out some principle for the environment design. It is next point for the nexus between "Fengshui" and the base election and designing for tenement and the indoor.At last,the paper suggests that our research for"Fengshui" be beneficial to environment design and sustainability.
