A four-degree-freedom vehicle control model of the automotive semi-active suspensions is studied in this paper. And the adaptive fuzzy control is then adopted in the research of semi-active suspensions. First, a regulatory table of basic fuzzy control is given, and a basic fuzzy controller is designed, and a system of basic fuzzy control is established. Second, a regulatory table of fuzzy control performance determination and an adaptive fuzzy controller are also designed. What's more, a system of adaptive fuzzy control are given. Finally, two control systems are used to control the model of the automotive semi-active suspensions simulated by MATLAB Simulation respectively. During the design of the adaptive fuzzy controller, the adaptive fuzzy control algorithm is modified and simplified to diminish the complication of the algorithm. The theoretical analyses and MATLAB simulation results show that the dynamic performance of the adaptive fuzzy control semi-active suspension is better than that of basic fuzzy control semi-active suspension, and much better than that of the passive suspension. |
