The traditional passive suspensions are designed based on specific conditions and the parameters cannot be changed after the design is completed.It greatly limits the suspension system for different road surface conditions and the adaptability to different operating conditions.Damping adjustable semi-active suspension is a research hotspot with its advantages of excellent performance and low cost.In this paper,based on the principle of ordinary dual shock absorber and fuzzy control,the fuzzy control strategy of semi-active suspension and suspension is studied.The main contents are as follows:(1)According to a certain type of car,the structure and working principle of passive shock absorber are analyzed,and the mathematical model of shock absorber is derived.Then based on the established dynamic model of the passive shock absorber for shock absorber structure was improved,got an adjustable throttle mouth opening of semi-active shock absorber,and semi-active damper dynamics simulation model is established,the simulation results show that the shock absorber damping force changes with throttling mouth opening and effective.(2)A 15 degree-of-freedom dynamic simulation model with passive shock absorber and semi-active shock absorber was established based on the dynamic software AMEsim.(3)According to the fuzzy control principle,the traditional fuzzy control strategy of semi-active suspension is designed for this model,and a variable universe fuzzy control strategy of semi-active suspension is designed in this paper.The controller model of two control strategies is set up by MATLAB/SIMULINK.(4)A co-simulation of AMEsim and MATLAB was carried out for class B random road surface,pulse pavement,step steering and acceleration-braking.The simulation result shows that compared with the passive suspension,the semi-active suspension based on traditional fuzzy control and variable universe fuzzy control strategy are effectively reduced vehicle vibration,improve the vehicle riding comfort,and the variable universe fuzzy control strategy is better than the traditional fuzzy control strategy,to prove the validity of the proposed control strategy.The effectiveness of the control strategy is verified.
