The return of a reusable spacevehicle into Earth's atmosphere with high-supersonic is gas-heated intensely, which requiring the high performance of thermal protection provided by the hot-structure composite materials. The requirement of the Primary Hot Structure provides both thermal protection and loading for the future spacevehicle can be achieved by integrated design of thermal protection and load bearing. Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMC) is one of the most important candidate materials for its high heat resistance and high temperature performance.CMC is in the experimental stage in our country, and the systematical evaluation system has not been developed. For the designer, the selection of the materials and the design of the structure only can be realized based on the experimental results available. On the other hand, CMC can be well designed, the accumulation of the notable experimental data is required in order to explore the relationship between technique, components and properties and realize the optimized design of materials. The available experimental data can be organized in CMC database effectively, which provides the structure and materials design with a stable plate.It is to build CMC database and database plate in this work. The dataorganization in the database is realized according to the study flow of materials, and all the information in the process of material preparation, sample machining and property testing are recorded. The components, techniques, microstructures, source data of materials and the properties in different service conditions of the CMC such as physical properties, traditional mechanical properties, service characteristics and ablation properties are all included in this database, and these plentiful data can be used when proceeding the structure design under all service conditions.Client/Server structure system is defined as structure of this system This paper analyzed system structure according to the methodology of Object-Oriented based Relational Model. The logical structure design of the database has finished according to Third Normal Form. The database logical model has built in Unified Modeling Language. It also has finished security design for protecting data of this database. According to requirements of system design, inner-mode and outer-mode have been completed, whichinclude 63 tables,21 user views and 10 triggers. System application has been designed, including data-management module, data finding module, report form module, life predict module and exterior interface module. Finally, based on CMC database, the paper analyses several feasible application models and regards them as the application directions of this CMC database system.The CMC Database will provide a effective and reliable application platform for structure design of reusable spacevehicle and optimize design of CMC. This will improve efficiency of structure design and level of material design.
