Combustion chamber is one of the key components in gas turbine. The design of he combustion chamber is a challenging task because of the highly complexity of the geometry structure and the internal flow of the combustion chamber. A successful design needs the detailed study of the flow inside the combustion chamber based the state-of-art CFD techniques and experimental research works. A numerical analytic system based on the real three-dimensional geometry structure and powerful commercial software such as STAR-CD, Pro-E, Pro-am' was established in this thesis for the study of the internal flow and the optimization of the geometry structure of the combustion chamber. Numerical analysis was carried out for the primary design of one low emission combustion chamber for micro gas turbine. The main features of the flow field were obtained successfully and the problems in the flow field were analyzed. Solutions for the problems existed inside the flow field were proposed. Numerical experiments indicate that those modifications are very effective and a satisfactory flow structure inside the combustion chamber was established. The analytic system established has some advantages over the currently used models in that there is no simplification for the geometry at all. It can provide a powerful tool for the engineering analysis of the internal flow and geometry optimization for the combustion chamber.
