The IVECO full-vehicle ride comfort has been simulated and analyzed with the built model. In the paper, the 40A vehicle of IVECO company in Nanjing is the research object. The rear suspension system of the IVECO vehicle is the leaf-spring type. According to the stiffness calculating formula about leaf-spring, the software calculating the stiffness of the leaf-spring is compiled in Visual Basic. According to the vehicle vibration theory, the double-shaft vehicle vibration model has been bui It up in MATLAB/SIMULINK. The analysis of the 40A vehicle has been carried out with the built model. After changing the rear suspension stiffness(include six flake leaf-spring and eight flake leaf-spring)and simulating the model, the curves of Magnitude-frequency Response have been achieved, by which the full-vehicle ride comfort can be estimated. Contrasting with the experiments, the model is testified to be exact.Finally, contrasting the simulation with the experiments, the simulation results accord with the experiments. The built model and simulation results are testified to be exact, which can guide the manufacture.
