Coarse-grained Soil Compaction Test

This paper analysis the compaction character of coarse grain clay as subgrade fillers, through indoor test, analysis the effect of the change of moisture content, compaction energy and rate of coarse grain to the density of coarse grain clay, and analysis the change of allocation granularity after the compaction. Through field test .analysis its compaction character under different compaction machine , compaction thickness and compaction times. On the base of the research results and associate indoor test and field test, present different compaction qualification to appraise different coarse grain clay, in regard to high rate coarse grain clay, adopt quantitative and qualitative method to appraise, in regard to low rate coarse grain clay, adopt three-point two-time parabola interpolation theory to establish compaction qualification, this research findings will set a firm theoretical for rational appraise the compaction of coarse grain clay subgrade.
