| Geocell is a new geosynthetics which has spatial configuration. Through laboratory full scale model experiment, the paper studys the compressive deformation behavior, plane shear and inclined plane shear behavior , elongation behavior of the geocell structural layer in different fillers. In addition , the paper analyzes the experiment data and discusses different kinds of effects which affect the behavior of the geocell structural layer. Finally, cooperating theory analysis and experiment results, the author discusses the reinforcement mechanism of the geocell structural layer, and deduces the formula to compute bearing capacity of foundation reniforced by the geocell. |
