Based on the feasibility of no left turn management at urban signalized intersection, this paper focus on the microscopic simulation model for vehicle behavior by microscopic traffic simulation technology, which mainly researches into the following aspects.First, a simulation environment and a model architecture, consisting of static and dynamic model, are established, which set up a framework for present and future modeling work. Secondly, under the framework of model architecture, the main micro traffic simulation models are developed. Especially, the paper provides a detail description of vehicle U-turn behaviors. Furthermore, the new ideal that we can share the static model from other similar system is presented, which avoiding bigger errors and less convenience generated from too many parameters input. Thirdly, traffic information is approximated by numerical approximation theory. Moreover, some new ideal of spline is permeated into simulation models. Fourthly, the road carrying capacity at the left turn exit and the intersection carrying capacity before and after no left turn are individually calculated in order to judge the feasibility of no left turn management. Last, the paper provides some key techniques to program simulation models, such as object-oriented design, vector graphic object processing, method of judging simulation area automatically, math and ActiveX techniques for random simulation models and etc.The result of simulation based on the idea above indicates that the intersection carrying capacity increases while the related road carrying capacity drops if carry out No Left Turn management on intersection. The factors affecting the result include the vehicle least turning diameter, scale of vehicle, road width and road dividing line and etc. Especially dimension of vehicle.
