With the demand increasing in the turn left,using the setting up form with multiplex left-turn lane group at the large intersection,and also set up a underbridge multiplex left-turn under the overpass in the city,in order to make full use of resources under the bridge;Compared to the previous single settings,lane number is increased,not only lane distribution is no longer like traditional settings on the left,and appeared a separate,side-by-side,and other forms of complex settings;Base on the reason after the left turn vehicles passing through stop line entrance into the intersection,the lack of rigorous line constraint and result in left vehicles releasing process at the left lane group,the left turning vehicle is not their own ways,but exist complex driving behavior,such as interweaving and lane changing and so on,the improper driving behavior will not only reduce the security of driving,but also affect the traffic capacity.Given this,in order to more rationally adjust the release form of the left turn vehicle,standardize the driving behavior of the driver and improve the passage efficiency of the whole intersection,it is necessary to analyze the driving behavior characteristic and study the position relation Characteristics between the vehicles when the left turn vehicle is released.On the basis of previous studies,this paper analyzes the left-turn vehicle release characteristics by investigating the left-turn related data of the typical intersection in Changchun City,and explains the left-turn vehicle release characteristics from the macroscopic and microscopic aspects.The minimum safety distance model is established,and the OV model considering the lateral movement is established as well.And we analyzed the influence of the transverse movement occurs in the process of turning the vehicle into the intersection on the subsequent traffic.The main work done is as follows:(1)Analysis of the macroscopic characteristics of the left turn vehicleBased on the actual survey data of the typical intersections of six different forms selected by Changchun City,we macroscopically analyzed the queuing selection characteristics,the early turning characteristics and the velocity distribution characteristics by applying the mathematical statistics,and described the macro running characteristics of the vehicle during the relesaing of the left turn vehicle.(2)Analysis of the microscopic characteristics of left turn vehiclesThe vehicle trajectory coincidence and offset characteristics during the left-turn releasing process are analyzed by using the trajectory extraction software,and the behavior of the vehicle in different periods of time is analyzed too.Moreover,we studied the distribution of the speed and the distance of vehicles' head in different time of the lanechanging vehicle.(3)Analysis of the behavior of dangerous lane-changingBy analyzing the behavior of the turn left in the intersection,finding the three adjacent vehicles closely related to the lane-changing vehicle,we established the minimum safe distance model,and probed into the influence of the acceleration and the critical collision time on the minimum safe distance,and improved the OV model.Finally,we simulated the interference characteristics of the transverse movement of the left turn vehicle during the process of lane changing to the adjacent vehicle.
