It becomes more and more intensifying that people's depending on traffic transportation with the development of the modern society and the acceleration of urbanism. In order to make the traffic safe, quick and orderly, some good traffic control systems have been invented. Those control systems can resolve urban traffic problems very well in a way, but there are defects and shortcomings by view of the status of urban traffic in our country. Intelligence Transport System(ITS) can improve traffic efficiency greatly as it use Information Technology , Communication Technology and Control Technology. Traffic jam can be solved with it very efficient and economical. In lineal control of crossroad, it is an important problem in urban transportation system that how to design advanced scheme of traffic sign to improve control efficiency according to the traffic character of the crossroad.This paper analyses and study the Intelligence Traffic Sign Control system of urban traffic lineal control based on Traffic Engineering and Intelligence Control, associated with computer using technology. In view of the status and character of the road, we adopt the method of associating fuzzy control with neural networks, and design a scheme of traffic sign control. Adopting this sign control method based on fuzzy logic, which don't need set up complicated traffic modules, and resolve complicated and random problems effectively in the course of traffic sign control. At the same time, using the study and memory ability of neural networks, optimize subject function and control rules of control variables, which makes the control scheme more reasonable. The method was simulated by means of Traffic Simulation Technology. Compared with control of fixed periods, the result of simulation indicated that the method has little calculation, and use experience of engineer effectively. At the same time, the method can improve response speed greatly. Therefore this method can be used effectively in lineal control traffic sign control and improve control efficiency of crossroad.
