Induction motor is a System with the characters of high order, strong complex coupling, non-linearity and multivariable. As a kind of decoupled control approaches, Vector control transforms the AC model of induction motor to the equivalent DC model by coordination transformation, which improves the industry applications of induction motor. However, the inherent nonlinear character of induction motor and the uncertain parameters variety in practical application induce that conventional control methods cannot obtain satisfactory results. Therefore the paper combines fuzzy control with neural network control methods and modern control methods in order to study the intelligent control and optimization in AC speed-adjustable system.As one of the intelligent control methods, fuzzy control is independent of the accurate model, able to overcome the influence of nonlinear factors, and has robust control solution for the variety from the parameters of the dominate system. When used to the control of variable-frequency regulating speed for AC induction motor, fuzzy control can reform robustness, improve both the dynamic and static performances of the system.Based on the neural network with the capability of self-study and self-adaptive we present the speed control and speed identification new methods of speed sensor-less field-oriented control (FOC). The new system has a better performance than the PI self-adaptive controller system. It has many performances such as faster dynamic response, strong in robustness, strong anti-interference and so on.This paper aims at the requests of fast control and high-jamming of theinduction motor, it presents an approach to research and development the fuzzy-neural network control method based on the fuzzy control and the neural network control. The results verifies that the approach has many performances sucha as dynamic response, strong in robustness, strong anti-interference and so on.The results of the research indicate that the control strategy and approach which is presented in this paper is valuable, the control method increases the speediness and buildup the robust of the induction motor drive system.
