Vehicle Traveling Data Recorder Design

This thesis presents the research on primary performance of the vehicle traveling data recorder. The vehicle traveling data recorder means to maintain a store, in a secure form,of information concerning the relevant data, status of running over period up to and following an incident. Installing a vehicle traveling data recording system aboard cars which collects essential data as to the circumstances and origins of an accident will greatly improve the supply to reliable information.It Includes the technical specification, difficulties, and solutions of the new Vehicle Traveling data recorder . Discussion and design of the method and Hall sensor of speed test are keystone, it is based on 8 bit MCS51 chip microcomputer, we improved the design of hardware.In the whole testing system ,single-chip microcomputer is lower machine and PC is upper machine.The measuring system contains several modules, the software of upper machine is Visual Basic, It can record the velocity and other work conditions of the vehicle integrality and precisely.
